The Shared Keyboard, the Cognitive Delivery book, releases on Kindle on 31 July 2026. Pre-orders are open now on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com.
Subtitled Building software in the age of AI agents, and staying in control of what ships, it is a 131-page field guide to AI-assisted delivery: what the research actually says once the headline numbers come off the slide, the Cognitive Delivery Framework as a redesign of the lifecycle for a keyboard with more than one set of hands on it, and the Cognitive Delivery Index as the way to tell governance that works from governance that is merely written down.
It is written for three readers: the developer whose name goes on a diff an agent drafted, the delivery lead who needs to know whether AI adoption is helping or quietly costing them, and the executive who signs off the budget and is answerable for what ships.
More on the book page, including what each part covers and a taste of the chapter rules.
