Not professional advice

The content of this site, including the Cognitive Delivery Framework, the Cognitive Delivery Index, the papers, articles and the self-assessment, is general information about governance and software delivery. It is not professional, legal, financial, regulatory or other advice, and must not be relied on as such. You are responsible for how you apply it, and you should take suitable professional advice before acting on anything here in your own organisation.

The CDI self-assessment produces an indicative, self-reported read for reflection. It is not an audit, a certification, or a compliance assessment, and no outcome should be represented as one.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful, personal and internal business purposes. You must not misuse the site: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, disrupt or overload it, scrape it at a scale that harms its operation, or use it to infringe others' rights or break the law.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content, framework, index, text, design and downloadable documents on this site are owned by or licensed to Drawbridges Business Services Limited and are protected by intellectual-property rights. You may read, share links to, and download the materials for your own personal or internal organisational use.

You may not republish, sell, or present the framework, the index or the content as your own, or create derivative commercial products from them, without our written permission. Quoting with attribution and a link is welcome.

Third-party links

The site links to third-party sites and services (for example Amazon for the book, and LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of sites we do not operate; following those links is at your own discretion and subject to their terms.

Availability and liability

The site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We aim to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content is complete or current at any moment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time; the version here, with the date above, is the one that applies. We may change or withdraw content at any time.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

These terms are provided in good faith and written to current UK requirements, but they are not legal advice and are not a substitute for it. If you intend to rely on them, a review by a qualified solicitor is advisable.
